  • Project Background

In Cambodia, young people have very limited access to educational opportunities—especially in fields such as 3D technology and digital media.

To help bridge this regional gap and foster the next generation of global talent, BIG BANG Academy launched this project in collaboration with local partner LASTMILE WORKS Co., Ltd.

  • Details of the Initiative

The educational program adopted a hands-on curriculum focused on 3D modeling and VR production, creating a learning environment where students could learn by doing.

Industry-standard software was used in class, and instructors provided one-on-one support and mentorship. In the latter half of the program, students tackled actual creative projects—developing both technical skills and confidence through the experience of shaping their own ideas into real-world outcomes.

  • Educational Program in Action

As part of the outreach efforts, students from BIG BANG Academy held VR experience sessions at local elementary schools in Cambodia.

Children’s eyes lit up as they explored new worlds in virtual space, sparking curiosity and dreams around technology.

This created a virtuous cycle—where the knowledge gained by one generation is passed on to the next.

  • Results and Future Prospects

Participants shared that they “gained confidence” and “aspire to work in this field in the future.” In fact, some went on to pursue careers in related industries after completing the program.

Looking ahead, BIG BANG Academy is committed to delivering technology education to even more regions and age groups—continuing to expand the cycle of learning beyond borders.
